It may work, but the effeciency may not be as good as he claim to be, due to the cam design. He need to do some tests, get some solid datas to prove that the effeciency is as high as he claimed to be.

And since the engine is working in a whole new concept, meaning manufacturer need more time to perfect this design. I think it is not very practical unless, he really have datas to support that his engine has a much higher efficincy then the existing engines. Else this engine can only use on some specific machine first, to get some small funding, have the chance to improve on it, until it is more practical to be mass produce.
